Lindeth Howe Hotel
What a lovely small cosy hotel this is. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a excellent view of lake windermere. The grounds were amazing. Not far outside of Bowness.so can easily walk there and to the ferry if you wanted. Food was good and fresh. Breakfast had a made to order ...

Beech Hill Hotel & Spa
Our room was upgraded on arrival, and the room was perfect, floor to ceiling windows with a perfect view of the lake. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. The spa was lovely, The only downside was the building work going on outside but they seemed to keep disruption to a minimum

Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa
Hotel showing its age but lake view rooms very nice. Clean and tidy but older part of the hotel could do with full refurbish. Breakfast lovely and evening meal reasonable. Drinks very expensive.
