What you can expect
Begin the day with a drive to the picturesque city of Tagaytay. Located on a ridge 2,250 feet (686 m) above sea level, it offers a panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano. After lunch, return to metropolitan Manila, visit bustling Makati and see San Agustin Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In Tagaytay, a visit to the Palace in the Sky, the “rest house” of former President Ferdinand Marcos, offers breathtaking views of Taal Lake and Volcano. Stop for a brief lunch in one of the local restaurants to sample cuisine and delicacies that are popular in the region. While you dine, admire the famous panoramic views and prepare for the trip back to metropolitan Manila.
Your half-day tour of Manila starts with a visit to the Manila American War Memorial and Cemetery. Experience the hustle and bustle of Makati as you head to the country's capital city, Manila, via the scenic Roxas Boulevard. Pass through Rizal Park on the way to the “Walled City” of Intramuros, and travel back in time on cobbled streets to San Agustin Church before a stop at Fort Santiago.
