Overview

Live a practical and engaging experience dedicated to the tradition of fresh Sicilian pasta.
Starting from simple and authentic ingredients — local flours and eggs — you will learn how to make different shapes of handmade pasta, just as the family tradition in Sicily wants
All guests will be involved in the preparations.
The activity lasts about 2.5 hours and is designed to make you live an authentic and relaxed moment.
The experience can be partly customised according to the needs of the group.
Children under the age of six are guests.
The flours used contain gluten

Activity itinerary

With your teacher Teresa of Syracuse, you will live an authentic experience, made of simple gestures, genuine flavours and family recipes. In this lesson Teresa teaches you how to prepare 3 types of fresh pasta with your own hands. You will only use local flours, eggs and seasonal ingredients.We will also prepare sauces that will be meat, vegetarian or fish (fresh). The skills you will bring with you after cooking class at Teresa's home, will not only be recipes, but an authentic storey to share with your family and friends. As a gift you will have a list of local sauces for pasta or bruschetta. This lesson is not only practical but also informative about local products. After class relax and enjoy the flavours, scents and nature that surrounds you. If you have not booked a property for your holidays, Teresa recommends : Teddy House Ortigia in via dei Santi Coronati 40 Syracuse. You will be in a comfortable and quiet place a few steps from the Point of Sale.
