Overview

The tour begins with pickup in a van at your hotel. You will head north of the city of Santiago along the Los Libertadores highway.

You will get to know the Salto del Soldado, due to the existence of a legend that tells of the escape of a patriotic soldier, pursued by the royal army of Spain, making a great leap through this so-called natural formation, eluding those who were chasing him.

On the way you will pass the famous Autopista Caracoles, known for its curves.

We will arrive at the border with Argentina where you can take a photo with the Welcome to Chile sign.

You will visit the Portillo Ski Centre.

You will have a time determined by the guide to visit the ski resort and the wonderful Inca Lagoon located between the mountains. This lagoon also holds a beautiful storey about an Inca king.

You will also participate in a mountain picnic at no additional cost.

At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Santiago.
