The hill was originally lined with cherry trees, which have since been replaced by majestic mahogany trees. While swimming in the open water is not recommended due to strong currents, the beach features natural rock pools that are safe for swimming. It’s an ideal location for a relaxing beach walk, sunbathing, or a quiet picnic under the Casuarina trees. The scenic drive to Cattlewash itself is a treat, showcasing the dramatic landscapes of Barbados’ east coast.
