Grand Hotel Sant'Orsola

"Das Grand Hotel ist ein ganz wundervoller Ort. Es thront hoch oben über der Küste. Die Anfahrt über die endlosen Serpentinen sind ein Abenteuer, das man mögen muss. Wahrscheinlich sieht es nicht jeder so, aber wir lieben das Gekurve auf den engen Straßen, denn es eröffnen sich jedes Mal neue Eindrücke und Erlebnisse. Es lohnt sich außerdem, denn vom Balkon der Zimmer hat man einen einzigartigen Blick über das Meer. Durch die Sackgassenendlage ist es sehr ruhig. Von innen entspricht das Hotel nicht dem modernen Zeitgeschmack, man spürt dadurch aber noch den Glanz vergangener glamouröser Zeiten. Wir fanden das sehr charmant. Außerdem ist es sauber und ordentlich.
Am Morgen gab es ein einfaches kontinentales Frühstück. (Als Käseliebhaber hätte ich mir an dieser Stelle eine zweite Sorte Käse gewünscht, aber insgesamt war durchaus für jeden etwas dabei.)
Aufgrund der anderen schlechten Bewertungen bezüglich des Essens haben wir keine weiteren Mahlzeiten im Hotel zu uns genommen, dazu kann ich also nichts sagen. (Außerdem: In Italien probiert man sich doch überall durch und bucht nicht Halbpension!)
Das Personal ist super freundlich! Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und zuvorkommend behandelt. Ganz herzlichen Dank dafür!
Eines steht fest: Wenn es uns wieder an die Amalfiküste zieht, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten! Wir waren rundum glücklich. "
