This place was great! Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Our room was is the small side but we didn’t expected differently. The restaurant was really good; however their cocktails need a lot of improvement. It is still worth to dine there and enjoy the amazing view. But be aware the restaurant is pretty tiny so make reservations early. The property was modern and really nice and confortable. The staff was helpful and friendly! They even lets us borrow an adaptor for our stay. If I went back to Athens I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I recommend Athens Gate Hotel

The front desks, the room attendants, the guys helped us to carry our luggage and opened the door for us were very helpful and friendly. The other crew at the restaurant on 8th floor were not too friendly. The latter crew (the tall lady) was friendly and very nice. She was always polite and smiling while asking us for more coffee. This was during our breakfast in the morning. We never had a chance for dinner there.

This property is in the center of Athens, which is ideal for reaching everything. The only negative thing about this property is that the elevators are extremely too small

Athens Gate was the best location for us. Walkable to Acropolis and Plaka area. Rooftop breakfast was very nice, lots of food options! I would stay there again!

The staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We were treated very well from the very outset. We also ate at the restaurant on top and it was delicious. I cant say enough good things except i wish we couldve stayed a few more days. Wonderful location

Athens Gate Hotel is fantastic!

We loved staying at The Athens Gate Hotel because it’s very centralized, within walking distance to the Acropolis Hill and Museum, Plaka and great selection of restaurants, modern style. The hotel rooms and Roof Top Restaurant offers fantastic views of Athens historic sites and are rooms are clean and comfortable beds and soft bedding. Definitely would stay again!!!

Location is excellent. Walking distance to Acropolis, Acropolis museum, temple of Zeus, Plaka area. Nice rooftop with acropolis view. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the drinks we ordered one evening very terrible and morning breakfast wasn’t that great in taste. But the location and friendliness of staff and letting us check in early was amazing made up for everything else!

Room was very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were very accommodating and helped me check on my tour schedule. For those of you who really enjoy a large breakfast, they offer a hearty selection to please the most finicky eater. I did not try the restaurant, but I did have cocktails in the afternoon, and it was very pleasant with a gorgeous view of Athens.

Loved this property - the location can’t be beat if you’re in town for just a few nights and want to see some great highlights. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious and the rooftop breakfast with a view really made it feel special.

Property location is great as you can walk to many sights. The hos clean and the service is very good. The downside is that there was a lot of traffic and other noise the night I stayed. In addition, the towels were old, not fluffy at all.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel staff were great. Also, the location is incredible. It’s just close enough to keep everything walkable and just far enough to avoid the extra noise of all the hustle and bustle when you’re trying to decompress or go to sleep. The breakfast was delicious. I can’t say it enough of how much I enjoyed my stay here. Appreciate you guys.
