Room was weird. A couch and a twin bed put together was the bed. I emailed two weeks prior to my arrival to ask about their laundry service and no response. The day I get there I asked and was told “I don’t know “ “I don’t know it’s an outside company” and no further assistance with laundry. The staff was dismissive.

Really lovely hotel. Nice spacious room that was well cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly. Good area to get to main attractions in barcelona - located in the old city. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because me and my husband found the bed really uncomfortable so didn't sleep well.

The room and hotel were modern and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of cava at the reception, which was a lovely touch in the room as well. The rooftop space is an excellent spot to enjoy a drink or snack while taking in the Barna landscape, and it can also be a perfect place to work for a few hours. Great place and location! And their restaurant downstairs is superb!

The location was the best, right by the Arc de Triunf and the big park, very close to La rambla. Clean, great quality service. I cannot recommend it enough. The rooftop was nice but not many people used it at night. Probably because there is so much to do in Barcelona.

I stayed at Hotel Rec Barcelona recently and had mixed impressions. The location is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring the city, with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. The design and style of the hotel are modern and appealing, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness. My room didn’t feel properly cleaned, and some areas could use more attention from housekeeping. The bed was okay and fairly comfortable, but the overall room maintenance didn’t meet my expectations.

Booked the hotel as it’s a great location also right on both the bus & hop on hop off buses. Receptionist was very accommodating & booking in was seamless. Room spacious & clean. Shame there was no fridge as apparently it was a premium room. Breakfast was ok. Didn’t use the restaurant as ate out on our stay. Beware if booking because of pool facilities. It’s very very small. More a plunge pool than a swimming pool. So a little disappointing. Overall a pleasant stay.

Staff was pleasant and attentive during check in and out. Room air conditioner did not work and shower drain was clogged. Reported it after first day. Supposedly maintenance addressed it, but had same issues during second night. Room condition was reason for poor rating.
