The staff, from an original phone call, with a question, until check out could not have been more amazing. Personable, professional, friendly, and enthusiastic are just of the few ways I would describe them. From the moment we arrived until we left we were engaged in an amazing way. We loved Betsy Lynn at the desk and her colleague, Vereema. Next time I am Boston we will choose to stay at the Midtown for the staff alone, although the beds and room were extremely comfortable. I cannot wait to see the finished renovation.

Great location. Some staff are very hospitable. However, the hotel is doing heavy renovation. Construction Workers on site and the hall way was full of bad chemical smell.

We would never stay there again and had a hose out the front door on the side boxes that you could see in the window when you pulled up. It looked nothing like what it should look like from the pictures that were on Expedia then when you go in, there’s their under construction it was old torn curtains in the hallways carpet carpets were filthy dirty nobody nobody vacuumed there are people working in the small hallways during the day there’s no elevator working. Have you ever had? Worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel.

Cost effective stay on the fringes of Boston City main area. About 10-15min walk to the main area to visit. Hotel was going through renovations so half of the hotel was messy / dirty and the other half brand new.

Our room was good-clean and comfy beds, but you could hear the cars on the street and it sounded like there was a loading dock outside of our window. Bring ear plugs!! Friendly staff, and great location! Less than 15 minute walk from Hynes Convention Center and to Fenway Park on the green line. I think the rates were raised because of the game-not worth $400 a night!

It was a great short term stay being a young/fit person. However, my mom came to watch me compete and not having an elevator available was tough on her. Also, there was a lot of construction going on (specifically on the second floor where I was staying), so walking on plastic, having painters tape on the door, limited accessibility to the rooms wasn’t ideal. It would’ve been nice if there could’ve been a discount on my stay or even allow my mom to park for free for the night since there was so much going on with hotel makeovers. The pillows were comfortable though!

Yes it had said it was under construction but they should not be able to still rent out rooms. They were literally doing intense construction in the second floor all day until 8pm and we were the room right under them. Expedia should have certain levels of criteria for a hotel to be able to use them,I’ve never had a worse stay in a hotel just hammering non stop. I picked this hotel because of how close it was to my work conference so I could nap in middle of the day which was not possible at all with the non stop banging.
