Lovely hotel, quiet in the suite separate from the main hotel. Good facilities- large pool and I liked there was a swim lane and general lane. Staff friendly and helpful. Little dated in the rooms but plenty of space, comfortable bed/pillows and very dark. Would recommend.

Breakfast hot buffet items were cold or undercooked. Dinner fish and chips were over cooked and was served with mushy peas when the menu said crushed peas. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and grounds. Lovely pool and spa.

Absolutely stunning, magical and wonderful breakfast. If I lived in the UK I would go back as often as possible. My teenage niece and nephew loved it. Staff were incredible and knowledgeable.

Friendly staff, beautiful setting, lovely breakfast! Afternoon tea was ok, not the best I’ve had, scones were extremely crumbly and the bread was a little dry. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, however I would have liked a fridge and the cold water didn’t run very cold. The spa facilities are lovely, clean and a good temperature. I would definitely stay again, it was so pretty with all the Christmas lights around the quaint little buildings and staff were excellent.

You get the wow factor when you first arrive, then when we checked-in to our suite we were very disappointed, its a bit tired, wasnt clean, found coco pops on the floor along with hair clips, bread crumbs and a hair in the bed and sink. Smart TV doesnt have netflix etc, just youtube. Room was boiling hot and only able to control temp by radiators. Overlooking car parks from both windows, floors very thin so could hear the people downstairs talking and loud TV at night. Booked dinner for 6pm, when restaurant first opened and took over 2 hrs to get served main & dessert, chef lost our ticket and waited 90mins for main, this was stressful with a 5 year old to entertain! Breakfast was great. A pint will set you back £7.75!!!! Can get cheaper pints in London, this is Wales! Wouldnt make a return trip.
