Problems perhaps affected by the excellent earlier stop in
Warwick/Stratford. The premises are looking very tired, the
swimming pool was closed for re-furbishment, after heavy rain the ceiling of our room leaked overnight and soaked my duvet. Had to move ourselves to a new room a long way along the corridors. Our room missed cleaning on two occasions, evening meal was served in the bar area where
the majority of seating was on high bar stools certainly out
of reach for “senior”citizens. All the above was reported for the attention of the management who didn’t even have the courtesy to respond!
On the plus side John on reception was courteous and helpful and the breakfast’s excellent
