Beautiful property. Several walking paths with horses nearby. We don't golf, but glad we stayed at this property. Good was good at their restaurant. Make reservations ahead of time. Friendly staff. Room service was excellent!

We had a lovely time at the Dalmahoy Hotel. The staff were above and beyond, absolutely perfect. From the first step onto the property we felt at ease and were welcomed by all. Thank you to the staff at Dalmahoy and the operating manager. Everyone helped us with a smile and were top notch! From check in, to drinks at the bar, to dinner and breakfast dining staff, housekeeping staff, and at check out. We only wish we could had stayed longer. Our next visit to Scotland will surely require another stay! Thank you for everything and for the post card souvenir of the hotel. Cheers!

We ended up with an upgrade to a turret room and it was very spacious and comfortable. Getting to the room was confusing as the property is very large. We utilized the pool and saunas - very nice! The hotel has a shuttle to/from the airport (we didn't use it) and it was very nice to stay close to the airport for our last night in the UK.

I liked everything about the hotel, except the dining options. Although there are two restaurants, neither one of them really had a lot of options for food. You have to buy a hotel breakfast the day before you eat to save money. There are no other breakfast options. Overall great place, but take some food of your own.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and well presented a Beautiful building. We only stayed one night for a theatre trip but we will definitely return for a longer stay I can’t praise this hotel enough.

Pleasant stay, easy parking in front of the hotel, quick and easy check in from friendly staff. Clear instructions were given on the layout of the hotel, where all the facilities were, opening times of restaurants etc. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was cramped and in need of updating (old shower over bath design).

A little tired

Location and hotel were beautiful but the room was a little tired. Holes in the curtain lining that allowed the sun to shine through in the morning, bottom of the bathroom door showed extensive wear and tear, fittings around the taps on the bath were loose and initially the fridge didn’t work. For the price would not have expected this. Location and first impressions were amazing

Delightful 2 night stay.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Our room was a junior suite and it was the best size for us as a family. We were very lucky to be upgraded to this room. The hotel was very clean, the food was at breakfast was very tasty and a hit with our 4 year old too! She enjoyed the grounds, especially the play park. It’s a beautiful hotel situated in a lovely location. The best part- the staff! Every member we came across from the staff at reception, the restaurant and maintenance were so friendly and kind. We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you ☺️

Wonderful location in the country. We were able to walk down the driveway to get a direct but into Edinburgh. The only minor downside was the many sets of stairs to move through the building.
