Anchor Inn was so clean and a perfect location right on a sandy beach! Staff very kind. Fair prices! Do not go anywhere near ocean front lodge! Dishonest, filthy, homeless wandering inside the hotel and right outside, smells terrible inside, stains on walls, sheets, bathtub,

I was caught off guard. A monitor with a remote person was our check in. It went fine but what the hell is this. If a woman hadnt been inside I would have never even noticed that I was supposed to check in with a zoom meeting. Not a fan of no human presence. Not sure if I will come back here again. We love this hotel and its location to the beach but still questioning this check in system.

Hotel has automated kiosk for check in which is interesting. The hotel is fine , comforter was stained however and bed not very comfortable. Mid to low quality (limited ) toiletries and scratchy towels however view is worth it and proximity to the great beach . Can listen to waves all night with window open.

It was ok , beds were not that comfortable at all! Was very disappointed , when family member went off and forgot to get his insulin out of the refrigerator in the room ! We were miles away in another state Ca. We called and they said they would call back to let us know if found or not !!! Which was really disappointing ! I would not stay again ! We loved the awesome view of the ocean and being so close to the beach. There are several great restaurants in walking distance, and the location is a great launching spot to explore the Redwoods National and State Parks. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, while our room appeared aesthetically pleasing at first glance, it did not meet expectations when it came to cleanliness. Upon entering, there was an unpleasant odor that made it feel like the room had not been properly refreshed since the last guest—and unfortunately, that scent seemed to linger even after a night’s sleep. It was not a welcoming start to our family vacation. Additionally, we were under the impression that breakfast was included with our stay, but it turned out to be just a granola bar and a miniature muffin—something that should have been clarified ahead of time. Overall, this experience fell short of what we had hoped for.
