Close to Santa Maria Novella Station. Convenient location. We stayed in winter season and there is no AC so it was bit cold inside the room.

I booked a massage with Luisa and it was really good - so was the sauna and steam room. This was a plus about the location and unique for a Florence hotel If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend a room that doesn’t face the street bc of the train that keeps stopping every 6-7 minutes. The concierge was nice to let me move rooms and showed great customer service about it. I appreciate it Rooms are clean and staff is nice

The hotels location was very convenient for public transportation but not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The hotel itself was clean and the pool area was so calming. Would come stay here again.

Hotel was very well situated for tourist hotspots but would be concerned re safety for lone or female travellers. Hotel itself was clean but room badly in need of redecoration especially bathroom which was mouldy around door and shower. Air con was very noisy, would also benefit an upgrade. The four star rating is clearly attributed to the amenities ie pool and wellness services.

The included breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The rooms are very clean and updated. Having the outdoor pool was fantastic during our stay to help beat the heat. The roof top patio had an amazing view and was a wonderful place to start the evening off admiring the surroundings with a drink from the bar.

The hotel itself was very nice and very clean staff was very friendly. The only thing was finding the hotel was very difficult. We put it in Google maps and the directions sent us to a different hotel and we had to ask around until we found the correct location of the hotel, which was very inconvenient.

Started well but ended on a bad note

We stayed for five days in August. We chose this hotel because of the pool and the proximity to the station for day trips. The stay started well. It was only a short walk when we got off our train from Rome, and even though we arrived at 1pm we were able to check in. We really appreciated the air conditioning on hot days, and loved having a dip in the pool. However, on our second last day we came downstairs to find the pool drained and under construction. And on our last day we woke up with no power or water, so we couldn't shower before our flight out, or even use the lifts! We had to drag our luggage down 5 flights of stairs. The man at reception was kind enough to order us a taxi on his mobile after we asked, since we were already running late for our flight after trying to get ourselves ready without power and water. All that aside, I still probably wouldn't stay there again. I'd prefer to give up the pool to stay closer to the city, or even over the river.

Just had an enjoyable few days staying at the MH Hotel and spa. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the centre so we walked everywhere. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing - great variety of fruits, pastries and cake, and hot food. There is even gelato and pancakes. The pool area is relaxing and there’s also a roof top terrace. The bar is only open 5pm until 9pm after which you have to ask reception to make drinks. In my opinion the bar should be open longer so you don’t have to disturb the reception. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Florence.

We had a fantastic stay at the MH Florence Hotel & Spa. Our room was one of a very good size to accommodate the three of us and was very modern in its furnishings and equipment, with a large bathroom (shower not bath) and his n hers basins. The hotel was extremely clean and the air conditioning was fantastic given the lovely hot weather in July. The outdoor pool was a pleasant surprise and large enough for a cooling dip. It is conveniently located as it is a 5 minute walk from the main train station, and 15 to 30 minutes from central Florence and all the main galleries, museums etc. I have scored 4 stars for location only because at night there was the usual groups of people hanging around the train station, that given the police presence meant we felt safe but I can understand other travellers may find it less so. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel which is two stops from the central stop and goes to the airport in the other direction. We used the high speed rail connection from the station to continue our vacation in Venice, with other routes available to Rome and Naples for other travellers. Florence and the hotel exceeded our expectations - can’t wait to visit again.
