It was our first time visiting Fort Myers Beach. DiamondHead resort provided a great place to stay. Clean room, comfortable beds, great shower, overall a very nice place. Restaurants were great. The beach chairs and umbrella was a definite plus. Close enough to walk to Times Square area (but golf cart taxi service is also available at a reasonable rate). Note: some unit’s have a little stove top ours did not. We had bought some eggs before arriving and ended up giving them to a staff member. Next time we visit we plan on staying here again.

Michael was very helpful upon check in and gave VIP treatment. Great customer service! Beautiful beach access! There is a small pool area for those that wish to venture there in lieu of beach. Although the pool was cold, it was clean and offered poolside service from bar and grill. A great perk! Would stay again.

Beautiful property safe family and couples were staying at diamond head Easy accessible to restaurants great having 2 on site, Costa wonderful food and beach sunset view! Beach great with chairs and umbrellas provided which is a great plus! Have stayed before and will be back!

Great access to the beach and loved the included beach chairs and umbrella. The beach staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Access to water toys was a good touch as well. The hotel has been renovated due to the damage from the hurricane which makes everything prettier in general. The bathrooms have a lack of ventilation so after a day or two the showers tend to have a mildew smell. The beds were comfortable and the mini kitchen was great for our stay during a baseball tournament. The food at the beach bar and at the restaurant were yummy. Nice to have that great option in the hotel. The front desk and other staff members were very friendly and helpful with a bothersome neighbor who repeatedly had bumping loud music at all hours of the morning, day and night. They were able to silence it every time. Great location for a PG Baseball Tourney to all of the local fields (20-30 min drive). Coming back to the beach was worth it all.

The beach view was beautiful. We loved our stay at Diamond Head, and made the best of the situation, but were unable to enjoy spending time out on our beautiful balcony because of the overwhelming smell of garbage. Our room was RIGHT next to the big dumpster, and the smell was disgusting, especially the last 2 days. We have stayed at this property other times, and we have always loved it, but this was truly terrible. To book a beachfront room, and then not be able to enjoy the balcony is not acceptable. The smell was so strong that if we opened the slider to walk in and out to the balcony, you could smell it in the room.

The room was amazing, view of the beach and pool were nice. The room was very nice, bed was comfortable, the whole room was very clean. Staff were very helpful and I love that there were chairs and umbrellas out on the beach for guest.
