Too crowded at breakfast restaurant. No cutlery until asked for it and no much variety of food. Room conditions is good but hard to differentiate hot and cold taps. Chargrilled restaurant service is poor. Food is not hot / warm and needs improvement on taste. Hotel receptionists are polite and welcoming.

I had a pleasant stay at Voco Gold Coast. One thing I wasn’t aware of beforehand was the AUD 350 security deposit, which would have been helpful to know in advance. That aside, the complimentary breakfast was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the location—right at the Surfers Paradise Tram Stop—made it incredibly convenient to explore all the sights and sounds of the Gold Coast.

Great property near the surfers. Has good amenities and they were great at helping out with small requests such as later check out time, a microwave for the room due to kids amongst a couple of things. Great breakfast options in the buffet. Improvement suggestions: Omlette station takes too long but the queue blocks all other egg stations. Coffee machine produced mildly warm coffee (but was fixed on last day of stay).
