Comfortable, great location.

A brilliant base from which to explore Hamburg, with shops and places to eat 10 minutes away. I ordered room service breakfast and had a breakfast in the restaurant. There was a choice to meet with all dietary requirements. The room was spacious and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was clean and tidy, although the ceiling tiles needed replacing as they were discoloured. You had to be patient whilst waiting for a lift, there are three of them, but one was out of commission. The option of getting to the foyer by stairs wasn’t possible. The stairs led outside in case of fire. I would stay again because of its position.

A pleasant and calm hotel at the edge of hopping St. Georg with its dining options and just a few steps to green walls along the Alster. Downtown ist a 25 min walk or short bus ride.

This is an excellent hotel. The location is brilliant with only a 7 minute walk to the nearest U-Bahn - U3 line which takes you to most places in the city centre. The rooms were very very clean as was the hotel. The breakfast was great with a huge selection of food and drink. The bar area is lovely too. All the staff at the hotel are so helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Absolutely excellent.

Hotel with a wrong perception projected in expedia

Nice hotel mainly for business people. But the lo ation shown in the website was deceiving. We oaid extra for Altser Lake view but you can only view part of the Lake at a distance. City center is at a distance and not easy for regular walking.I was surprised to find that in the breakfast room there is a long que as they look for names but not the room number of the guest. Breakfast choice is also very limited. This is not a typical Crown Plaza we stau around the world.
