Hotel was very disappointing. My partner and I hardly slept due to the noise of the tv from the room next door which went on from 10pm until after 2am. It was so loud we could hear every word. Despite banging on the wall,knocking the door and also contacting reception, nothing was done. On check out, no one was at reception, knocked the door twice with no reply so left the keys at the desk. Probably knew i was going to complain so didnt bother to check me out. Fountain in car park which meant you couldnt open the room window even although the room was too hotel as the fountain was noisy and so was the traffic. Would never stay here again.

Lovely hotel

Pros: Good value hotel with a lovely cooked breakfast to start the day
Location: Plenty of pubs,shops and restaurants nearby
We enjoyed our stay here as we always do when we are in the area

Pros: Comfortable bar area with large screen showing the football.
Friendly staff and good food in the restaurant. Small rooms but ok for overnight business stay.

A lovely night stay we where at a wedding just down the road from the hotel

Great location

Found the mattress to be hard and lumpy with springs being felt every time you moved Otherwise lovely stay and friendly staff

Unique. Experience

We love staying here, it wouldn't suit everyone as it's a little shabby, BUT the staff are wonderful, so friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Food is good too. Breakfast is full English and the dinner menu is delicious. Needs a refurbish of the rooms & WiFi in the rooms not just public areas would be great.
