No complaints except that the location of the fridge, microwave and coffee maker was tucked under the same space as the coat hanger and there was no light. Very difficult to make coffee in the morning. Suggest that the appliances and coffee maker be moved to a more convenient and lighted spot in the room.

The good : The staff was great and the room was clean . The location is great and the view very nice. The bad: The doors and walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Very noisy. The room is dated and old and should be refreshed . The smart tv did not work with the wifi and very slow and not usable. There was a lot of Undesirables hanging around outside and around the front of place smoking when we checked in.

Beautiful view overlooking the water. We were able to watch the Wolfe island ferry going back & forth across the bay as the snow came down and blanketed the city. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Very good location

This is by no means a five star hotel. But it has to be the best value for the money in Kingston! It’s on the water, downtown, close to Queen’s, has super comfy, nicely made-up beds, and a carefully boxed breakfast with plenty to eat, including coffee, that you can take with you, or enjoy in the hotel dining area, with a view of the nearby square. I stay here whenever I visit/ drive my son back to school from Burlington. The price is right, and it’s always reliable! They have paid, underground parking, or for a few dollars less, the lot across the street is also an option.
