This place is interesting if you want to live as a monk for a few days. But be aware that this is not an hotel. You will be a guest, not a customer, so as a well-behaved guest you have to follow the rules of your hosts. That means common (non-mixed) bath between 4 and 9 pm, breakfast at 7.30 am sharp (japanese style) and prayers (everybody is called but it is not compulsory to attend). Basically, that could have been a great experience, however for more than 17000 JPY/night it would have been far better if most of the monks were more pleasant, and if the room and the (common) bathroom were clean.
