Loved everything about our stay! The staff were so nice and helpful. The breakfast has so many options for everyone and is very good. We had dinner at the sushi place and main restaurant, both were excellent. Even though the hotel was sold out it did not feel like that at all. We had some of the hot spring pools to our selves, which was so nice after hiking and exploring the area.

We stayed here for Spring break for 3 nights.. Staff is amazing and very friendly. Dining options for vegetarian food are minimal.. Breakfast was very good.. Nice private pools and springs! If we are coming back will definitely stay here again. Maria at reception was very helpful and nice. She made sure that everything in our room is nice and clean.. They surprised us for our anniversary and did special decorations in room to make it very special.

This resort went above and beyond any of our expectations. The photos do not do it justice- the property is quiet, full of native plants, wildlife, and the property is maintained meticulously. The rooms were extremely clean, designed well, and the individual villas were SO much nicer than just a hotel room. Our porch of our villa had a beautiful view of the volcano. The biggest highlight of our trip was the staff. Every single staff member we encountered was kind, respectful, helpful, and made us feel welcome. There was no request too large for them to accommodate. We purchased a ā€œday passā€ for another hot spring resort and were so disappointed by the staff, services, and the food. We couldnā€™t wait to return to our resort. The excursions offered by the resort were so much fun, and every little detail was planned for us. All we had to do was show up. The pools are so nice, maintained well, and offer a variety of temperatures. The hot spring ponds were secluded and really made you feel like you were in a natural hot spring in the middle of the jungle. Finally, the food was incredible. The complimentary breakfast buffet was some of the best food Iā€™ve had in Costa Rica, and I looked forward to it every single morning. There are also 3 other restaurants on the property with dining options for lunch and dinner. Overall, I can not express how great of an experience this was and I would absolutely return to this resort for my next vacation!

The rooms are nice and big. The beds are comfortable. The showers are big and, if the person next door isnā€™t using theirs, you can have a hot shower. The hot springs were of warm bath water temperature; didnā€™t smell too much of sulfur. The hand rails around the pool need attention. I nearly slipped and fell a couple times and the hand rails are so loose, they didnā€™t help much. Canā€™t say the staff was overly friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Arenal Manoa. They went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome, including offering us a complimentary dinner on our last night at a restaurant of our choosing. The food was incredible, the location perfect, the staff warm and friendly, and the hot springs and pools exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this property!

We stayed in a junior suite plus with a beautiful view of the volcano. Our patio looked out on a gorgeous manicured garden. Every staff member we met was friendly, kind and helpful. Although there are no cooking facilities, there is a fairly good size fridge which came in handy. We were able to purchase simple lunch ingredients from the Maxi Pali that we took with us on hikes. Would recommend Arenal 1968 and El Mirador Silencio hikes. Also loved the Bogarin Trail Sloth tour, the night tour at Arenal oasis, the free hot springs, and zip lining and walking the hanging bridges at Sky Adventures.
