A True Hidden Gem in La Fortuna – Absolutely Must Stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hotel Lomas del Volcán is hands down one of the best hidden gems in Costa Rica! From the moment we arrived, the service and staff were beyond amazing — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. They made us feel at home instantly. Our room was absolutely gorgeous — spacious, spotless, and with breathtaking views of the volcano and lush surroundings. The location is perfect — tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private, yet central to everything you might want to do in La Fortuna. Whether it's hot springs, hiking, zip-lining, or exploring the town, everything is just a short drive away. This hotel gave us a great Costa Rican experience with all the comfort and charm you could ask for. We can’t recommend Hotel Lomas del Volcán enough — a must-stay if you’re visiting the area!

So beautiful! My kids loved the pool and the wild life was out of this world. Such a gem! The beds were very comfortable and the a/c worked very well! Yoga was really good also!

Best hotel for honeymooners

The hotel was really amazing and convenient. We really enjoyed our private cabin with the jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us. We like that they had on call transportation for us whenever we wanted to go into town. The pool, bar and dining areas were very spacious and nice. We really enjoyed their food and drinks. Definitely recommend to stay here as a couple trip.

Private cabin was nice. Best part was being on the edge of a rainforest and hearing/seeing monkeys in the trees and other wildlife. Be aware they may wake you up, but was worth it. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.
