Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa offers 105 air-conditioned accommodations with minibars and a safe. 32-inch plasma televisions come with cable channels.

Bathrooms include a shower, bathrobes, slippers and designer toiletries. This La Fortuna resort provides complimentary wireless Internet access. Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and a hairdryer. A nightly turndown service is provided and housekeeping is offered on a daily basis.

We went to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the Tabacón Team took it from there. After a long journey in, we arrived at an enthusiastic Bell Staff that quickly had us unloaded and onto a golf cart to whisk us away to our room. The entire welcoming process set a marvelous tone for the next few days. Every interaction with each staff member left us with a memorable impression. The profession of hospitality is not lost here. The restaurants are well-staffed, and the food is excellent. Breakfast each morning was a treat of Costa Rican and other international flavors. Try it all. The Spa team was the best we have experienced on any continent. Their technique, rapport, and amenities are not to be missed. We treated ourselves to the couples massage that was followed by our own personal hot tub. The property is immaculate and well-maintained. You are the very edge of the forest, where you can witness all manner of flora and fauna. We were so impressed that we will be bringing all 12 of us next time. Thank you.

The gold standard for what hotels should be. Our stay at Tabacon was flawless. The staff is very friendly. The facilities are excellent. Our room was nice and spacious with a great view. And last but not least, the thermal pools, absolutely amazing. My wife and I cannot stop telling our friends and family how amazing Tabacon is and we recommend it to everyone.

For my birthday this year, my husband and I traveled to Tabacon Thermal Resort, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the tranquil beauty of the rainforest, a perfect setting for a peaceful celebration. Our jungle view room was nothing short of amazing. Waking up to the serene sounds and lush green scenery right outside our window was a dream. The room itself was a peaceful sanctuary, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. It was a space where we could relax and truly disconnect, feeling completely at one with nature. The hot springs were, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip. They were not only awesome but also incredibly well-maintained. The different pools and cascades, each with its own unique temperature and feel, allowed us to find the perfect spot to unwind. We spent hours moving from one thermal river to another, feeling all our stress melt away. The lush, tropical landscaping around the springs added to the magical atmosphere, making it feel like a private paradise. Celebrating my birthday at Tabacon was an unforgettable experience. It was more than just a trip; it was a perfect blend of natural beauty, peace, and pure relaxation. I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate.

Amazing amazing amazing! The people and the grounds! Nice smelling rooms . Nice beds, furniture. The best and top class thermal Hot Springs. The way the springs were laid out across the grounds. Having the transportation included to get to the Springs. All the workers were so nice and friendly! If I were rich, I will keep coming back every month. Thanks to hotel.com.I was able to get a good price even though still pricey but also worth it!

I recently stayed at Tabacón and the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff here is truly outstanding every single person I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. What really stood out to me was how they all remembered my name, which added such a personal touch. Special thanks to Keylor and Oscar, who went out of their way to make the stay extra memorable. The resort itself is breathtaking. The natural hot springs are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, with several pools to choose from each offering a different vibe, from peaceful and relaxing to more lively and social. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained, and the location couldn’t be more perfect, tucked right in the rainforest with incredible views of Arenal Volcano. My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with all the details perfectly on point. The little touches made a big difference, and the comfort level was topnotch. I also loved that they offer complimentary valet service, which makes everything effortless. Overall, this place is pure paradise. It combines luxury, nature, and genuine hospitality in a way that very few resorts manage to do. I would recommend Tabacón to anyone visiting Costa Rica it’s the kind of experience you’ll never forget.
