The hotel is in an excellent location. Minutes from Big Ben, The London Eye, Westminster Pier, Parliament, etc. Nice building, safe location, quiet area. The rooms are small and no drawers to put belongings. Two people with two big suitcases made for a very cramped room. Plus, there was no way to just turn on the overhead light in the bathroom. It would turn all the lights on in the room. One person couldn't get ready while the other slept. Or they had to get ready in the dark. But there is a Starbucks in the lobby, the water pressure and temperature was ideal, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I would stay here again.

The hotel was really great. The inside was newly renovated. Room was clean and nicely designed. Exception: The shower door does not seal well and the water was escaping and water was going under the flooring. Room 714. Exception: we were never told there was scaffolding at the front of the building which was somewhat off putting since we were having a family reunion. It resembled a motel on the outside.

Great stay

The hotel is in tippy top condition. The rooms are laid out so well and very spacious for a large city. It was also very new, clean, and quiet. The restaurant food wasn’t my favorite and the hotel is about a 9 minute walk to other spots and sites, but as long as you know that, definitely recommend.

Hotel was great. However we ate in the bar and while my daughter's mac'n'cheese and chips was lovely and good value at £12 my cheeseboard was shockingly overpriced at £16. Small pot of pickle, four cream crackers,some grapes and three very small triangles of cheese. Would be surprised if there was more than £3 worth of actual food on the plate

I’ve been staying at this property for over 10 years, and it’s gone through some massive changes. Some positive, some not. The rooms used to be much more spacious, and they used to offer two double beds. Now it’s two twins and the room is ridiculously tiny. Disappointing for sure. It’s very dark, now, as well. Not sure why the mood lighting but the hallways make you feel like you’re walking down the halls of the hotel in the Shining. Very much wish they had their old rooms back. The floors are now vinyl, and ours was quite filthy. Definitely needed socks or slippers to walk around or your feet needed to be cleaned before bed- and this was on the day we checked in. Quite like the addition of the cafe/Starbucks. Still love the lobby and the location is great. Makes you feel like you’re just away from the tourists- not so busy, but it’s a walk or a bus ride away from most site seeing. I love walking so it’s perfect for me. Staff is all quite lovely, and helpful. Didn’t use the concierge this go, but have in the past. Check in and out was super easy. Even was able to get into the room a bit early. All in all, I’d stay again. Just really miss the larger rooms and the lighter decor
