Located near the Queensboro Bridge and the Roosevelt Island Tram, public transportation right outside with the buses and metro stations a few blocks away. Ritz Diner, Lunetta Pizza, and a lot of other places are nearby. Fully recommend staying at The Bentley Hotel.

It was a great stay, first time in New York. I just wish they would of had a restaurant in the hotel. The staff was great and the view was amazing. People were pleasant and we just had a blast. Poped the big question to my lady and she said yes, thanknyou New York.

Quick to resolve issue

I slept very well! The bathroom is my only complaint. Caulking and the bottom of the tub aren’t top notch. I had to call about no hot water but the issue was resolved within 10 minutes of calling it in.

It is near the hospital which is good. There is no fridge, microwave or coffee in the room. It makes it difficult to stay more than one day

Nice experience, bathroom somewhat lacking

Location is great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and stylish. I wish the bathroom would have had CONTER Space (not just a narrow glass shelf) to place the toiletry bag. There was rust around the bath tub drain and I did not want to step into that tub to take a shower.

Our room did not have hot water for the shower. We talked to the front desk. It was fixed. Then the following night there was no hot water again. It happened the three nights we were there. The positive, is when I went to check out they comped our breakfasts that were charged to our room. Very friendly staff.

I was a bit anxious booking this property as the room rate was such a bargain. My King/Deluxe room was a corner room on the 14th floor overlooking the bridge and river. The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean and comfortable bed with crisp, clean sheets and bedding. Staff is friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out! I would definitely recommend this hotel for business, or pleasure travel!

We booked a room specifically for the "city view" they are so sure to highlight- only to find that the blinds were completely broken. The pull cord that should have been used to move the blinds up and down, to allow a view of the the city- the main focus of our stay- had been COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF, leaving the blinds permanently down with no way to open them. We called the front desk and asked to be moved to a different room- only to be offered a room that did not have the same view. Why would we book a city view room, which costs more, and then take a room without the view we specifically paid for? As it was 20 degrees outside on a March night, and we got in at 10:30pm, we had no other choice but to stay with the hotel room we got. We were offered free breakfast, but we booked this hotel for the view, not breakfast, and we declined. When we checked out the next morning, I made sure to make the front desk staff aware- and they seemed surprised that our experience was so poor. When I called the following day I was told by the supervisor that management is well aware that the blinds in many rooms are broken because the Bentley Hotel was used as a shelter during COVID and the damages sustained to the hotel during that time have never been fixed or updated. When the view of the city is your selling point, and you are fully aware that you are making people pay for something they won't get? That is a deceptive and underhanded way of doing business.

It served its purpose

The gotel served its purpose. I needed a room for thw night at the last minute. I reserved a Superior room with a queen bed and was told they upgraded me to a double. It was a 9x15 room with 2 double beda. Not an upgrade in my opinion. There was no hot water. I dont do cold showers. The front desk lady was very cordial and polite. She was a 10.

The hotel is beautiful, modern and clean. There is a beautiful view of the city. We went out in Times Square so we were close but the action. The convenience of the parking garage is the best part. We didn’t spend a bunch of time searching for parking. We had the nicest clerk at check in. Very helpful. Bar in the lobby is a plus. Would stay again for sure.
