I did not like the communication. I left numerous messages before and after my stay about certain concerns and NO ONE called me back til this day! I don't like the daily 35 destination fee even though you can add it towards your drinks and breakfast. It forces you to use it even if don't care for the services. The first day, I arrived past hours so I could not use it towards these services. My sister and I thought the A/C was too loud but the beds were comfortable.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and it will be my last time. I was able to overlook the outdated hotel rooms with wallpaper peeling, dusty radiator and light covers, paying to store my luggage, not being able to get packages past 5pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends, no one answering the phones half the time that I called down to request simple items, BUT what I CANNOT overlook is the HAIRS I found on my towels AND being charged for a breakfast that I DID NOT eat nor sign for and still being unable to speak to someone and have the charge reversed TEN DAYS later. Mistakes do happen but it seems that they happen more frequently at this hotel and are NOT taken care of in a timely manner!

Hotel was in good location, room was clean and they let us check in early and check out late. Our room smelled like cigarettes and was non smoking but other than that it was ok. They can hold tour luggage for $6 each if your room isnt ready

Not satisfied with my stay. One day before arrival, we received an email stating there would be a $35 non-refundable nightly fee per room — something that had not been disclosed earlier. This felt like a dishonest strategy to add extra charges. The hotel is old and unattractive, with worn-out carpet and dated rooms. The overall attention was not pleasant, and I didn’t feel that the staff were genuinely interested in addressing our concerns.

Prepare for HIDDEN FEES, they added over $35/day in extra costs that I was only made aware of days before the trip. Factor this in when comparing to other hotels (though they might also do this) Granted the stay was nice, I have no complaints on the room or service. I just prefer when I expect to pay an agreed price months before travel, that I’m not gauged.

Friendly staff! My room was located by the ice machine room at the end if the hallway. The sound of dropping ice was so loud that was waking me periodically up. Sound of people arguing and partying traveled through the vents. I was not able to fall asleep until after 2:00 a.m.

Hotel cancelled my prepaid reservations, causing major trip complications. Reservations were made weeks in advance, this was completely unacceptable. Hotel said hotel.com over booked and they cancelled several people. This left me stranded in New York City and could not find a hotel until 5:00am the next morning. 72 hours later still no refund. Never had an experience like this with Hotels.com or a Marriott brand extremely disappointed.

Although the location is excellent and very central, the overall condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The rooms are in poor shape and definitely need more care and maintenance. The condition of the bathroom in our first room was unacceptable — the bathtub was full of mold and rust. We had to request a room change because it was simply not usable. While the front desk staff was quite rude and unhelpful, I want to note that the rest of the hotel staff was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and upkeep do not meet the standard expected for a hotel of this category.
