Comfort without room service.

The living room and bedroom were very spacious however the bathroom and kitchen were small but had everything. Other family were staying in various rooms with different layouts. Service was excellent.

The Lombardy is a gem. Staff and service were professional old school New York style. Our King studio suite room was huge as advertised. Each room is individually owned so cannot comment on what others may look like. We will definitely be back.

Excellent location. Comfortable bed. Good value for money. For us personally, the absence of breakfast at the hotel was an issue. There are cafe options in the area, but the good ones are frequently busy and have no free seats available.

Met our needs

My wife and I (both 80 years old) stayed here for the second time and will do so again if we get back to NYC. The hotel and room met our needs. The reasons for a 4 rating rather than a 5: no freezer in the refrigerator, only one washcloth in the room at the beginning. We asked for maid service one day and did not get it. Otherwise, everything was fine. Our granddaughter and her fiance were there for 4 days in another room. Their refrigerator did have a freezer. They were happy with their room. We appreciated the umbrellas that were available when it rained. The hotel is convenient to Central Park, many places to eat, and many popular attractions. We spend a lot of time in art museums.
