Staff were very nice and the “honesty bar” was a nice touch. We didn’t have breakfast but we could take the remaining items in the afternoon for free with coffee and tea for free as well in the common area which had a great vibe. On our last day there was free wine tasting as well. But the room was not as comfortable as we expected unfortunately. The building is pretty old and not renovated recently so you can smell it being old. Mattress was not very comfortable and there was some dust everywhere which I guess is normal in an old building. We had a good time here especially because of the common area and staff, but the rooms need to be more comfortable. There was also no phone in the room and the room was too small for us.

Good and convenient.

Super nice front desk, gave me a room that was easy to access given all the luggage I had. The only thing was the air conditioner in my room looked dusty and had a smell to it. Otherwise, the hotel was simple and spacious and convenient. Nothing luxurious but good enough. Room was clean too. Friendly staff.

Very cute hotel close to the beach and old town. My daughters loved the smart TV so they could stream shows and movies. The room is small but comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is one block from the Negresco hotel where we went to the bar to have a drink. Simple hotel but comfortable for the price.

The only two positives I can mention about this hotel are the location and the staff. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and the center of Nice, which is very convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly, responsive, and did their best to accommodate my requests and concerns. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The hotel itself is very dated and clearly in need of renovation. The bathroom was extremely small, and the toilet area was so cramped I had to open the door just to get dressed(I am slim). It's not suitable for two people, as there’s no privacy—everything can be heard throughout the room. The towels were old and stained, and the pillows were uncomfortably hard, making it difficult to get proper rest. Despite the high prices, the hotel doesn’t invest in maintaining or improving the quality. Basic amenities like body lotion and slippers weren’t provided. The breakfast was very basic for $15, though they offered a small discount to $12. I couldn’t wait to leave, and unfortunately, staying here put a damper on my overall experience in Nice. Think carefully before booking—while the location is great, the condition of the hotel can ruin your trip, especially for travelers looking for comfort, value, or a relaxing stay.

The staff is amazing and so is the location. We bought a bottle of wine and some liquor and enjoyed drinks every night in the lounge.
