Worst Hotel

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The lobby looks nice but the rest of the hotel is run down, dirty and not appealing. The staff is not very friendly or helpful. Add to that a lack of air conditioning in the room made for an extremely uncomfortable stay. We would have moved hotels after the first night but expected the A/C to be fixed. In addition this hotel caters to large groups which when checking in makes it difficult to navigate through the lobby. A word to the wise, look elsewhere.

The location was good for walking the city. The breakfast was plentiful with a large selection of food options. Our checkin at the hotel was rapid since we checkedin online the day before. When we needed a taxi, they called immediately. Our biggest challenge was no air conditioning in our room. It was very warm.

Comfortable bed and great location.

It was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Check in was easy. The room was a good size. The location was great - the Palace, Frogne Park, Akerhus all within a 20 minute walk and the Hop on Hop off bus less than 10 minute walk. We found a great restaurant around the corner- Den Glade Gris.

The room and amenities we used were excellent. The only exception was the restaurant. Menu was lacking choices and it appeared to be very understaffed. 20 minute wait to pay our bill and the restaurant was not that busy. Food was excellent.

Nice hotel with a few nice restaurants near by, and others in a walkable distance. Also near shopping areas and sights near by especially the palace. For those not wanting to walk there is a tram stop around the corner. Would recommend.
