I used valet parking for my car. When it was returned 3 days later I found a large circular salt deposit on the driver's side windshield. I washed the car when I got home and discovered that the finish on the hood was damaged by the salt, which is probably permanent. I would advise against using Valet parking as it expensive, you have know idea how your vehicle is being stored, and there is no accountability.

Hotel is beautiful and room exceeded our expectations Bar serving staff were terrible - completely ignored us for over 20 minutes so we had to order drinks from the bar ourselves. Bartenders were wonderful. Ordering room services is a frustrating process as it requires you to turn on the television and find a QR code - was too onerous so we ordered door dash!!!

There was no space to park at the hotel. We had to find another parking. The one we found gave us a time ubtil 6 am only. Which mean we have to go and find another place to park. Not sure why the hotel doesn’t have a space to park if every room has their own parking slot

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and good dining options.The only downside is the parking situation - unless you arrive early, plan on valet being full and parking at the National Arts Centre garage on Elgin. Would definitely stay again!

The Chateau is a classical old hotel in the heart of Ottawa. We parked our car and enjoyed our stay!
