BEWARE: photos of the property are a lie. The property is rundown, filthy, and uncomfortable. Based on the surprisingly positive reviews on Expedia.com, I was enchanted by the quaint photos of LPDM, as well as its location. I was fooled to think I’d have a charming private apt. with the peace of mind of a managed property. However, management of LPDM is an email-driven mechanism of monetization, nothing else. I paid for a cute studio apartment: as per photos, it featured a double bed and a pullout in the same space, a small balcony, and ample space to move around comfortably. Also, per photos, I expected a decent bathroom. Our unit didn’t have the capacity to house 3 people humanely for 9 days. It felt like squatting. Suffering on a squeaky pull out, storing our luggage on Day 1 & wandering around for 4 hours in 30 degree weather on zero sleep, enduring noise all night due to paper-thin walls, and washing towels every day because there’s no housekeeping, no matter how long you stay, made for a miserable experience. I’m a seasoned traveler but was duped by the deceit and opacity of the description. A loft is not a studio. When I wasn’t tossing all night because of the “bed,” I was worrying my 14-year-old son would break his neck going down the stairs which were a glorified ladder. LPDM should banned until it delivers on its promises and offers a clean, updated, accurately described product and treats clients fairly. Stay away from LPDM! There are better options in Le Marais

Aesthetically pleasing, within a secure complex, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, Patios du Marais is located within walking distance of major attractions such as the Louvre and Notre Dame. Please note, depending on the room location: - There may be multiple flights of narrow stairs to navigate. - Some rooms may face the bustling street, with shops and restaurants directly below.

The room was spotless for sure. I loved the security aspect. The location is convenient with the only issues of: 1- Access to the shower stall is close to impossible. You have to climb on the toilet. There’s barely space for an infant between both fixtures. 2- The shower is smaller than a cruise cabin one. The accordion door is hard to open from inside because the handle is outside. 3- The shower temperature goes from scorching hot to ice cold and nothing in between. I did not get a decent shower. 4- There were only 2 small towels and 2 supposedly body towels. That’s all you get throughout your stay. Pack extra towels. 5- one of the lights was out. It made the space dim. 6- Do not be fooled by the pictures. The space is really tight. 7- Just a couple of cubbies to store a few small things. We just kept everything on our suitcases and had them upright to walk around the room. The pros: The kitchen, although small, had a burner. It looked old and rusty, but it was functional. There was a Nespresso maker, a tea kettle, a toaster, and a few basics to make a quick simple meal or salad. Room was nice. Definitely on the smaller side but that is to be expected for that style of stay, just know the pictures are taken well and make it look like it’s slightly bigger than it is. Location is amazing! Food, groceries, pharmacies, public transportation is all within a 10 minute walk. Would recommend staying if traveling in a group 3 or less.

The apartment was delightful. The entrance & central courtyard were so inviting with greenery, cafe tables & gorgeous lights. The beds were very comfy, the shower great & the kitchen facilities were perfect. The ladder to the loft was steep so probably not suitable for older people, especially getting to the toilet at night. A great place to stay for location too, a short walk to the subway. Would definitely stay again.

Room was clean. Front desk wasn't as helpful as we wished. Also, be warned that they don't have elevators. So if your room is upstairs, you will have to carry your luggage all the way.
