We booked an ocean view room for 4, but to find out during check-in that these rooms usually only accommodate 2; but the site does not state this. They offered to deliver a queen bed or 2 twin beds to our room so that our 2 teenagers would not have to share a king bed with us. It took a total of 5+ hours to get this right. This is after multiple calls and going to guest services. After an exhausting trip with a 2am wake-up call, we all just wanted to go to bed. At 8:22pm, they were finally delivering the 2nd twin bed. The resort was nice enough to surprise us with champaign and food 2 days in, but we had booked an all day excursion, so who knows how long the food was out and all ice had melted. Greatly appreciated, but it still fell flat. Nice resort. Great pool. Good food. Service hates life with the exception of a handful who we loved.

I can't say enough about this property. Just beautiful. It exceeded my expectations. My husband and i celebrated our anniversary and from beginning to the last day was fantastic. The property is huge and beautiful. Tons of bars and restaurants and the beach is a stone throw away. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Our suite was amazing with two private outdoor spaces, completed with a jacuzzi, full bar, our private butler, wonderful housekeeping staff, access to a VIP club. A spa, a chapel, nighty entertainment, private dinner by the beach.This is one of my favorite places and would be packed and ready to return in ten minutes. Darel our butler is the best there is. He went above and beyond from the moment we made contact till the moment we got on the bus to leave. Our pick up was with Gomajestictours.com. The moment we got to the counter it was pleasant. Apart from the language barrier which was very few, and our room getting lost after a few margaritas..haha, this was a beautiful vacation. Highly recommend

Excellent experience, all the staff was friendly and always happy to help with anything you may need. The property itself was beautiful and there was plenty of things to do and keep yourself occupied. Food was great and always fresh.

Felt like paradise! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The beach, the pool, and the restaurants were awesome. The butler made sure to make our stay memorable and I will definitely be coming back! I’m sad to leave!

We enjoyed our vacation at the Majestic Colonial Hotel. The personnel and services were great. There were some few difficulties we had at the beginning of our stay that were quickly resolved by customer service head management Vannessa Bustamante. We also would like to mention the extraordinary attentions received from the personnel of the main buffet restaurant, specially we would like to mention Marisol and the “guira” guy Victor F, and the good services at the bars and other restaurants. Overall, we had a really good time during our twelve days stay.

Our room had a serious leak from the ceiling and had to change rooms. Almost slipped and fell and could have gotten hurt. Couldn’t get a hold of guest services from phone at all. Got food poisoning 2nd day into it and was stuck inside for 2 days. Staff were great and super nice ones we encountered with.

Property was beautiful. Great and friendly staff. Good enterntainment. Very walkable property. Property is 9.5/10. Only areas needing improvement is rooms need updating. That's where .5 was deducted, and seeweed on the beach (no fault of resort), just mother nature.

First off, all the staff is very nice. The resort is fine, not first class. It's showing its age. But the food was good, not great and people really were very nice/helpful. Important to note that not everyone knows English, so have at least a bit of Spanish. We made a mistake in that this is NOT adults only. So if you like a couple of families posted up at the pool bar with toddlers around them, just a warning. Another note about the ocean. The sand is great, the actually water had a lot of seaweed. It's honestly too much. It is a good resort and for the price, probably a good deal. But it does have some drawbacks.
