Gentle people at the reception desk but old hotel

The people at the reception desk are nice and gentle but the hotel is very bad conserved and need a restore (see pictures). I paid 475 euros for 3 nights so I expected MORE (I was also at Chania Chora Sfakion and Heraklion and the Hotels were nice and prives OK).

The hotel has an excellent location, so the beach, the old town and the restaurants were all within walking distance. Unfortunately, we didn't like the hotel's facilities, as many things are in need of renovation and weren't always cleaned properly. Nevertheless, we would recommend the hotel to travelers who want to reach everything on foot and only want to use the hotel for sleeping purposes.

Clean room , helpful staff , roof top pool excellent views , but access issues due to lack of handrails on the wide steps into hotel , about 8 , as well as no ramp , plus no handrails for the steps from indoor breakfast room to outdoor courtyard area , which is a pleasant area to have breakfast . Loud music , radio , played by pool bar irritating , unnecessary , most people arround pool wearing ear pods ! for some reason . Très déçu pour un hôtel quatre étoiles !!!!

Hôtel qui ne vaut pas ses quatre étoiles. Très vieillissant et assez austère. Piscine agréable même sur une terrasse vieillotte à l’image de l hôtel. Par contre très bien situé près la vieille ville animée .
