This hotel was amazing! It was conveniently placed within walking distance of the major tourist areas (trevi fountain, pantheon, colosseum). The staff were friendly and polite! Giancarlo makes incredible espresso martinis and is a great bar host. Stefano is very efficient with hosting, seating and scheduling your next breakfast. Elisabett was always so welcoming and sweet. The front desk staff were also lovely! We left early one morning and they gave us breakfast bags for our travel which was very thoughtful. The room is cleaned and made for you every day. Don’t hesitate and book your stay with them. You won’t regret it!

Absolutely amazing, I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Rome. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the whole hotel is decorated with elegance. The staff are all so friendly, from Daniel, Ellenora, Lisa on reception, Stefano the restaurant manager and his team who make it their goal to feed you at breakfast every morning, to ensure you are ready for the busy day ahead for sightseeing. The whole time here was an absolute joy! The area of Barberini is beautiful, safe, clean and ever so convenient for your every need.

Outstanding hotel experience!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out, we felt like we were treated well and pampered. The room is clean and the bed comfortable. There are plentiful public areas in the hotel to rest and sit. The bar that is part of the hotel and doubles as the breakfast room had wonderful drinks, great food and terrific service! Staff at the front desk were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. The location is so perfect to reach almost anywhere you want to go in Rome. If I am fortunate enough to return to rome, I will definitely stay at Hotel Barocco again!

Gem of a hotel in Rome

Everything was excellent about this hotel - great check-in, friendly & helpful staff, location (close to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps etc.), good selection for breakfast, very clean & well maintained hotel. Gem of a hotel that hasn’t lost its Italian charm.

A lovely quiet, calm oasis in a hot and busy city. The staff deserve special mention, all particularly friendly and helpful, with excellent service. The room was spacious and the whole hotel had individual, authentically italtian feel. Super walkable for the main site, 5 minutes from Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. We had a lovely stay!
