Room was VERY CLEAN. This is unusual for most hotels. Location was excellent as was the use of shuttle to the Plaza. Hotel facilities were excellent for the price, The Sage compares favorably with more expensive hotels.

The location was great - near Railyard District and not far from the Plaza. The room was nothing special but decent. Furniture seemed rather low end. Sheets and mattress cover were too small for the bed resulting in them coming off the mattress during the night so when you woke up it was all bunched up under you. Since lodging is expensive in Santa Fe you either get this nor pay big money and I’ve done both so you get what you pay for…. Affordable or luxury. I doubt I’d stay here again but if I had a friend looking for budget friendly then I’d say this was ok. Drinks in bar were very expensive - 2 drinks $40!! P.S.!- rooms aren’t cleaned unless requested.

I was very hopeful that this hotel near downtown Santa Fe was going to be incredible based on the previous reviews, and it was NOT! Starting from check-in, the hotel staff wasn’t friendly at all. It almost seemed like I was inconveniencing him by check-in. The room itself needs to be completely updated, especially the bathroom. The tub had a dark rust color around the tub/shower area and when I ran the water a rust color water came out. I was scared to even shower. There was general unkempt areas of the hotel room, like in the corners of debris not swept, mopped and cleaned. There were strands of hair on the duvet. This was quite disappointing, especially for the price I paid.

Pet friendly hotel! The grounds are very nice with a small area where your pampered pooch can take a potty break. The hotel is modern and attractive. Very hip vibe. Needed more pillows and more comfy mattresses, but otherwise was fine.

The room was noisy...Guests above and next to us sounded like they were in the room with us. Not a lot of sound proofing between units. The unit was clean and the housekeeping staff member we encountered was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately while the bedroom area was 'remodeled' somewhat recently it appeared...The bathroom was not. It could use a remodel as paint peeling/old toilet/old shower valve assembly not working as it should due to broken handle and the toilet was slow to clear the bowl and next to last day stopped clearing at all. Brought it to the attention of the front desk twice (night before and morning of departure) but no one showed. Given the events in town during our stay this was one of few places with vacancy and lower nightly rate. On a budget...Good place to stay.

This property is an older hotel that has been reconditioned . The pricepoint was good compared to other accommodations in the area . There is a $15.00 per person added fee that includes WIFI and breakfast . It was clean and located next door to a whole foods market. This is located about 5 minutes from the main attractions.
