The staff was courteous which is always important. The room was OK. Not much noise reduction between rooms. One of the attaching rooms was very noise as though there was not insulation. Overall, this particular Hampton Inn didn't seem to meet the overall quality that I have come to expect from the brand, unfortunately.

Restaurant nextdoor had a live band until 1am. Was very loud and couldn't sleep. When I called front desk he said this is normal for Friday night. Not sure why that wouldn't have been brought up when we checked in.

My husband surprised me with a weekend in St. Louis for our twentieth anniversary and our first night was spent at the Hampton Inn. The Hampton Inn on Dorsett Rd in Maryland Heights gets an A+ in cleanliness and so much more. First it passed my clean test - I wipe everything down. I’m a teacher. That’s what I do. Then, it passed my husband’s requirements which are temperature control (he likes a cold room), huge flat screen ( tons of channels for all of his sports), and a steady stream of hot water in the shower. That night, while we were listening to our favorite band ( FYI there are many things to do near this hotel), I received a text from the hotel asking if we needed anything. I asked for extra towels and extra coffee. Bless them, they left it outside the door, so we had them when we returned. The next morning, they had a great breakfast with everything you could want. Fresh and delicious. Finally, I can’t adequately state how courteous and accommodating the staff was. They went above and beyond. Positive and friendly. The Hampton Inn checked all the boxes and we will definitely be staying here again. They’ve made our anniversary extra special.

Convenient location next to a restaurant/bar however it was also its downfall because the bands music was blaring in our room located on the same side until after midnight. On check in the place smelled like fingernail polish as they were having some sort of nail polish meeting. Traveled with friends and we were visiting outside as a few cars came into the lot and sped out several times. We thought maybe they were planning to steal cars or cat convertors but later determined they were most likely affiliated with the single ladies hanging out in the lobby. Not the Hampton Inn quality I am use to seeing as others have reported.

The room and hotel were kept clean and smelling clean throughout. The staff were all friendly. A special thanks to Michelle. She was absolutely wonderful and could tell from our interactions what pride she takes in her position. My only negative is the weather was still wonderful and I think they shut the pool down for the season too early.

We stayed 2 days and each time when using the microwave it would blow the circuit breaker and the TV, air conditioner, and microwave would go out. Maintance personnel was told and everyday would have to come into the room to reset the circuit breaker. I asked could we be reimbursed and was told no because we booked through Expedia
