Disappointing, staff cold and offered no guidance on the facilties when checking in. Stayed for 6 nights and the bedding was not changed the entire stay, last couple of days nobody even refresed the tea and coffee. Rooms dated with damage. Asked for a try from the bar to carry some drinks to my room, instead of giving a clean one from the pile on the bar, they gave me one that was full of spilt drinks, poor customer service

Room 103 needs a refurbishment, mouldy ceiling in bathroom, bizarre electrics - light switch behind TV!? Outside guttering next fixing. Lights from the next door office on all night shining in the room, no headboard to bed, beds very short. Overall very poor experience in this room. Breakfast was also poor quality for the high price.

The hotel is part of the Stirling University campus. Many of the staff are hospitality students. The room was good, everything was clean although it could do with an update. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Standing outside for 30 minutes when the fire alarm was activated at 2am did spoil the whole experience though.

The location on Stirling University campus is perfect. Such a beautiful campus. Running up Dumyat and take in the views over the Forth Valley is a treat.

i clicked through the email about 'how was check in?' The stay was fine, but check in and then subsequent trips to breakfast were not good as there was no obvious flag on the hotel system that we had booked breakfast. i had to search on the app with little mobile reception at the reception desk and eventually find a small note of Full breakfast included which the hotel grudgingly accepted. We were then obviously not added properly to the room list and had to go through this rigmarole again at breakfast. It was annoying that the actual booking wasnt properly communicated to the hotel from hotels.com and suggested that booking direct may be preferable

Staff weren’t friendly in the restaurant. Receptionist made a mistake with my booking and on check in we waited 30 minutes to check in.room had window wild open, cold and smelted terribly.Manager next day was professional and offered us a free meal. Sewage in assessable bedroom was terrible and we felt sick all night. Tv didn’t work and staff didn’t always come. No porter after 11 pm. No phone to call reception and had to use mobile. Very disappointing for the money.

Room was big, but didn’t really have any lighting? 1 spot light on the wall and a few lamps that didn’t work. Shower also didn’t turn on, and overall cleanliness could’ve been better. Breakfast was alright, but a bit boring (would’ve loved some more fruit/cold cut options). Great parking options, but need to be aware it’s on campus of Stirling uni, so there’s a good few minutes to get into town by car.

I didn't eat in the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable although quite cold. I thought the towels were rough and had possibly seen better days. Check out is fairly early at 10.00am. I did not receive discount for having a student daughter at the University. This was always granted on previous occasions.
