The hotel is in a great location to walk along the river and up to the castle. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the area and an amazing cocktail bar across the street called Atelier. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

We spent two nights at hotel Krone and really enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable. A sweet and cozy spot to relax after exploring the city!

The hotel and amenities are some of the best in Switzerland. Their hotel front desk are always very helpful and pleasant. Becareful you don't run into their maintence manager that wear socks and sandals. He is very rude and very grouchy to guests.

Had a very comfortable stay. This property is walking distance from railway station, just about 10 mins walk. The room was mid sized with a separation of living and bedroom area. The bathroom was clean and very spacious. Overall the Hotel is nicely maintained and very clean. Enjoyed the stay.

A base for our stay

On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted warmly, given information about our stay and the Winter Garden for coffee etc. The room, whilst compact, was comfortable, and cleaned daily, bed turned and even though advised about not refreshing towels, was also done daily. The breakfast was continental, fresh and plenty full, which made a good start to the day. The location was good, a ten minute walk to the station, which is well connected for travel in the area. Thun itself is nice location, with quite a few things to do, before venturing further afield to Interlaken or further still.

Very nice hotel in the heart of the old town, steps away from the rivers and a few mins from the famous castle. A lots of restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel and shooping streets are steps away. The hotel room is spacious and clean. The hotel provides free coffee and drinks all day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
