It's been renovated. Very clean. Not on the Grand Canal so not as busy. Walkable from the train station with luggage. You can walk to St. Mark Square, however very easy to get lost. Use Google maps.

Nice hotel conveniently located next to the water taxis for airport. Room was clean and ready prior to check-in time, which was definitely appreciated. However, bathroom was a bit small, and we could hear a lot of the noise from outside from boats honking before the bridge (luckily the boats stopped overnight)

This place is a long walk away from the madness but still had excitement. close to train and vaporetto to airport. We would stay here again.

Very Friendly Staff at an OK Property

The Leone hotel is quite convenient to the rail station in Venice at about 0.3 mile walk. This allows you to get to your hotel without taking a water bus or water taxi which is a plus in Venice. There is a water bus station a few hundred feet from the hotel to get to more popular areas of Venice or you can also walk. It’s about a 1 mile walk to St. Mark’s Square. The hotel is small as you would expect in Venice and fairly clean although we had numerous hair on the floor in the bathroom that wasn’t ours and was quite off putting. Our room was next to where housekeeping gets their supplies so it was VERY NOISY in the morning. The bed was quite hard so we were normally sore every morning and the showers are also small. We navigated this week but larger people may be challenged. The hotel doesn’t have breakfast or a restaurant so you have to go offsite to get food. The hotel recommended a bakery close by that was outstanding. The staff overall was very friendly and helpful and were the highlight of our stay.

My wife and I in our early 50s stayed one night. We are arrived late so they emailed the door code and instructions. We had room 206, small but very clean and the A/C worked well. The front desk person was helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is convenient located near a water bus stop. Our room did not have any USB. It did have a safe and mini fridge. The deco is more midern. A good amount of restaurants near by. We would come back again.

This property has been renovated i think because it's new and super clean inside. We loved our room,, the stone tile floors, the comfortable bed, the wonderful shower. I have no negatives about the room. Location is perfect near the train station and a vaporetto stop to the airport right out front. There are numerous restaurants nearby. The host offered information about the tickets and schedules for vaporettos. I would definitely stay here again.

Room 102 is a corner room. Hotel is very close to water taxi stand besides giving easy access to intercity transport but also to airport. Which means not lugging suitcases over bridges. With the windows open you feel like your part of neighborhood.
