I was staying in the 4-bed dorm and they beds are very comfortables! the lighting in the room is limited if you close the blinds ( due to the heat we had to close them) but we had a great view of the Washington monument.

Checked in between 6pm-7pm, dropped my bag in the room and left out for dinner with a friend. When I got back around midnight, the room was so hot that I was dripping sweat so badly. I grabbed my stuff and complained to the front desk. He said that he had gotten complaints about the heat around 8pm from others but that they decided to stay. I told him that just because they decided to stay when the heat was bad in their rooms, doesn’t mean that I am bad for not wanting to endure the same. He said that maybe I should have not decided on a shared room and directing that this is all my fault. He refused to give me any receipts. This ended around 2am, so nothing else is open. I ended up having to keep my reservation “technically checked in still” just to sit in the lobby till morning. Was reminded not to sleep any in the lobby. This is my first time staying in DC for leisure only to have one of the worst hotel stays of my life. The bathrooms in the rooms don’t even have shampoo and body wash/soap! (Which they don’t disclose on their site). I highly recommend nobody stay here. The hotel will fight me on a refund, so I doubt I’ll get even half a refund. 0/10

I really liked the location. The walk from the red line can be a bit brutal after a full day walking around but overall it was a nice place to stay. The only thing that has me not high rating was the showers... The water pressure was HORRIBLE. PS if you are there on a Sunday there is an amazing farmers market at DuPont circle entrance to red line!

This hotel was SO COOL! The vibe was incredible in the lobby - secruity round the clock -- space to work and sit and chat and connect and eat and drink. Rooms were clean and the AC was amazing. 10/10 would come back here again!

The AC wasn't working for a couple of days. Even after the management told us a technician was taking care of the problem it took complaints from several guests before anything was done. No comp no changing rooms. The ceiling was peeling, no ventilation in the bathroom, some of the staff was rude, will not go back or recommend.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Palm sized roaches outside right at the entrance, rats scurrying from the cafe outside across my feet, a roach immediately upon entering our room, the room smelled like chlorine and bleach as soon as we walked in and was incredibly humid. I’m from Jersey, I’m used to NYC rats and their audacity but this was on a whole new level. The amenities had no rhyme or reason to them. Website said the bar closes at 12 or 1 am on Friday or Saturday nights and both nights we were there it was closed by 11 and 7 pm respectively. And the pool was closed by 8 pm. So if you don’t plan on staying at the hotel all day to get a chance to catch any of the amenities, don’t even bother booking this property. And the water had absolutely no pressure in the shower. The sink had better water pressure and would splash all over me every time I turned it on, meanwhile the shower trickled out like it had a weak prostate. Further, the Expedia price quoted me at $423 for our weekend stay “including taxes and fees” but when I paid when I got there they charged me $481 claiming “property fees”. The signs outside and on the website say $50 for parking but then they’ll tell you it’s actually $65. So not only was this property feces covered in glitter, they make you pay as if it’s a luxury stay.

Expedia over charged me excessively with the nightly price of >$600 per night when the room is only like a regular hostel room. I understand this is a dynamic pricing and the platform such the blood of those who need to travel. When I checked the price just use google, the rooms only cost <$200 for computable period.

It was ok, a few adjustments could improve.

No washcloths. No microwaves. Security had an attitude & was unhelpful. For almost 250 a night, i expected those things to be up to par. I saw more rats outside, around the property over 2 days than probably my prior year before where i live. Check in front front desk was polite & professional. The relief for overnight, not so much. Restaurant was overpriced. Bed was comfortable, accessible gym & patio was good to have access to.
