Hot tub closed. Only one ice machine worked. Pot holes all over the parking lot. The smell of the hotel was a weird smell. The room was not clean on the surfaces when I went over it again with a wipe. Finger marks all over and spills on surfaces. The dolly was broken for transport. They had a kid get stuck in the elevator for about half an hour or more. The furniture in the lower level looked like it was second hand. The only nice spot was the weight room. The staff were nice though and they were doing their best with what they had to work with. The restaurant was not open at all and the parents of a team travelling was told they can’t eat at the restaurant during breakfast and thats all the restaurant was open for. Why??? No staff available to clean up rooms and one staff was going around asking if we needed anything in the interim like towels or toilet paper. Poor girl. The head office should be really looking at fixing all these issues. Never seen a holiday Inn that bad.

Checked in on Friday. Room they gave us was not ready and dirty linen and toilet. Went back down to front desk was given another room. Toilet in room was broken and running. by day 2 handle did not work. Went to pool 3 x and all 3 times there were no towels to dry self off. Tried to call front desk no answer. One time they did bring towels but it took 45 mins as there was a kid stuck in an elevator. Last morning found roach perched on top of chip bag on table in room. Gross.

The hotel in general was dirty and in a state of disrepair, (there were notices posted throughout that they were in the process of updating/renovating). Shoddy repairs in our room, some of the plug outlets didn’t work. Hot tub wasn’t working, pool showers out of order. Overall a massive disappointment for the price. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was just ok.

I got in and was so tired. Just wanted to sleep. No ice in the ice machine on my floor. Broken. I was already in jammies. Not going to 4th floor and not getting dressed. I am sick and I am so tired. Then no heat and they came and fixed and it only lasted a few minutes after they left. Took me 3 phone calls to get someone. Had to pay for breakfast? Holiday inn express usually have free breakfast. So lots of issues. Sorry….. Rooms are dated. Needs some updating

Our first room the fridge wasn’t working. When we went into the bathroom it was missing baseboard on the walls by the shower. Then we got moved to another room, didn’t look like the shower was cleaned. Black hair in the shower and on the toilet. Staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. We booked it knowing there was a hot tub. When we arrived the hot tub was not working. They sent an email after it was booked about the hot tub not working and I must have missed it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was ideal for our 1 night stay. Our room was not as clean as i would expect, for example we could draw on the dust on the tv stand, the bathrooms needed some updating and the floor was definitely mopped with a dirty mop. For 1 night and the price, it was liveable, but longer stay I would of called down to change rooms.

Room was ok but could have been cleaner. Dusty and cobwebs on floor in corners. Numerous surfaces hadn't been wiped clean. Bed and pillow were comfy. My room did not get cleaned on the weekend and this was not made clear that I had to ask so after a long tiring day I came home to an uncleaned or tidied room.

The rooms were nice and staff were great. I got these rooms for my 30 year old son and his wife and their friends to celebrate his 30th birthday. I wanted to do something special for him since he battled cancer and we didn’t think he would see his 30th. The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was broken so it was a huge expensive disappointment.
