This hotel Iris well located!!! Breakfast buffet is nice. It’s basic buffet! View of acropolis is epic!!!! Staff is okay. Not great or bad. They are okay. Room was bad. Ac barely worked and Ants crawled out of a tear in carpet and were like 100s!!!!! Ugh! Athens is HOT so no ac is bad! Their ac is bad! I’d never return bc our room felt like 90 degrees! I don’t recommend! I do recommend going there and having drinks on rooftop! Food is overpriced and basic. And shower was super small! Don’t come here! But come for drinks! View is Epic!

The rooms were really large in size and decorated beautifully. Truly felt like Royal accommodations. The pool area was kind of small and crowded. And the lifeguard was kind of strict about food and wearing shoes around the pool area. The location of the hotel is outstanding and very close to the Acropolis. In fact on the seventh floor where breakfast and dining is. You have a great view. Speaking of breakfast the breakfast was fabulous. We went in the beginning of July and it was extremely hot outside. But the air conditioning worked well. all the staff was attentive to any needs we had.

The hotel feels more like a 3, 3.5* hotel. Maybe 25 years ago it was 5*. It is now however feeling quite old in the rooms, furnitures looking tired and also the pool area. The rooms were clean though and there was good air conditioning

Property has some aging issues. Shower drain was backing up. Asked front desk to address the issue, it was never looked at. There was a fixture hanging out of the wall over the bath tub. Asked for ironing board, when I received it, it was broken. On a positive note the breakfast and dinners were excellent.

The staff was rude from the beginning and continued throughout the whole stay. We stayed in the panorama room, only one working outlet throughout the entire room, no outlets in the bathroom, the large bed was two twins pushed together with a gap, the top bed cover and pillows were not clean, the beds were so uncomfortable. Nothing is upgraded, I dont know how this is a 5 star hotel.
Since there are no outlets in the bathroom, you get this hairdryer.

Needs maintenance

Rooms on both occasions were in need of maintenance. Toilet seat was loose, and second room rhe fridge door was not attached to the outer cupboard making it difficult to open. In general the rooms need attention and maintenance and would not grade this as 5 star.

Had to change my deluxe room on arrival as it stank of cigarettes and there were grease marks on the headboard from someone’s hair . Bed was hard as iron . Furniture was very outdated … 3 star at best
