The hotel lobby was nostalgic. The bar area afterwards was full and the staff was friendly. We even met a nice couple & finished our conversation with them in the lobby after the bar closed.

The stay was very convenient and a quick walk to the CFG Bank arena. The rooftop bar would've been great but they closed at 10 so we didn't make it. Unfortunately the room had a stale musty smell. There was a long hair left in the bathroom across the back of the toilet. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. The chair at the desk was visibly dirty. I requested a late check-out that was approved but not commicated to housekeeping. The bathroom shower did not seem that clean with visible mold build up. Overall, I have to say that I was quite disappointed of the room condition considering the wonderful possibilities.

The building itself is beautiful and has so much fascinating history. Our beds were so comfortable! The staff went above and beyond. We had tickets for a show, but there was also a concert across thevstreet, so the restaurant was packed. Miss Elizabeth was our server, and went above and beyond to get our food out so we would make the show in time! We will definitely be back.
