Great hote in a quieter area

Super hotel situated on a main shopping road. There are few bars and restaurants in walking distance. La Ramblas and Gothic Quarter are a bus ride away though - 40 minute walk otherwise. Open bus tours are great way to see this huge and diverse city. The hotel staff at reception are very helpful and gave advice about bus routes, walking routes and where to eat. Breakfast is luxury continental and includes hot sausages/eggs at weekends. Our room was upgraded to a suite, and would recommend this! It was fabulous! Would definitely stay here again if visiting Barcelona.

Good and friendly staff, and the room was clean and ok but it would have been very useful to have had tea/coffee facilities available in the room. The only meal we ate in the hotel was breakfast which was far too expensive (euro 21 incl tax), the "cooked" breakfast (had to be requested) consisting of bacon and eggs only - not exactly a full english to set you up for a day out! Location was too far away from the centre - better to be nearer Place Catalunya - but a 2-day pass on the bus touristique was an excellent means of getting round the city.

Ideal for business or short breaks

Very clean, excellent shower, huge bed and very large room. The bar staff could be a bit more friendly. The Hotel is quite a walk from the Metro, a good 15 minute walk although the buses stop ouside.

Perfect!!!!

Wonderful, professional staff and cheap with a great location, I could not ask for anything more. Definitely stay there again.

Das Zimmer ist eine kleine Oase der Freude. Die Dusche eine kleine Wellness-Oase. Der Ausblick aus dem 13. Stock sensationell.

Les chambres sont un peut vieillotte moquettes papiers pain se décolle pas digne d'un 4*. Très bruiant. Les lit sont bien
