It's a little dated, but the room was actually quite good, especially for the price of the area (being so close to Banff). Lots of local eating options. The parking spaces are very narrow.

Nice place, clean, comfortable bed etc. A major downside is that the property is right on a train track and very noisy trains go by about every 1 to 2 hours all day and at least 3 overnight. I guess you could ask for a room facing the street on the other side of the building. When we got there only about 4 cars in parking lot so not sure why they put us facing trains when other side would probably have been quieter. Still a mountain view from street side also. They were also renovating the room right beside us which wasn’t too noisy but still why put us there knowing that people would probably review your hotel. I don’t think I would stay there again. Very expensive rooms to put up with all the noise.

Parking was poor It was very loud Room was hot despite air conditioning as it blew up the curtains when they were closed At night rather than into the room We could hear everything on the floor above us All of our food we put in the fridge froze Did not enjoy our stay at all Not worth the price we paid!
