Good hotel at a convenient location in the center of Chamonix. We experienced street noise from partiers which diminished the sleep. Underground parking was a plus and breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good.

Our stay was great and I owe it almost entirely to the staff at this hotel. Weeks before we even got there their excellent customer service began. It was our 25th anniversary and we were trying to get a restaurant booking. Many emails went back and forth to make this happen. Upon arrival, the man who checked us in remembered that we had still not resolved it, and asked if he could make the booking for us. They told the restaurant that it was our anniversary which resulted in being recognized with music and sparklers. We had just come off a cruise and needed to do laundry. We went to the laundromat close by and they were closed. When we came back to the hotel, they told us to leave the laundry with them and they would figure out a way to have it done. I’m not sure who did it, but later, someone delivered it to our room washed and folded. Daniela and another young lady (Mathilde?) always went above and beyond to be kind and help us with all our needs. The hotel is perfectly situated. We had beautiful views of Mont Blanc. It is within a block of many restaurants. The city center is just a 5 min walk away; train station is less than 10 min. The Flixbus stop was also very close. Aiguille du Midi gondola was less than a 5 min walk. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh bread and pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurts, juices, espresso drinks, etc. The pool was pretty and my husband loved the steam room. If we go back, we would stay here again!

We got a room upgrade, to a room with deck and view up the Auigilla du Midi cable run, and glaciers below Mont Blanc. Top points for room and ensuite which was very nice. Seperate WC which was 3 x larger than typical.

We liked the comfortable room and the free coffee. Comfortable bed with a nice bedspread. Even though it overlooks a busy street, it was quiet. The view from the balcony was great. The location near Main Street was great, do was the option of a private parking. The lights on the bathroom would be better if they were brighter. WIFI was a little slow.

The location is perfect, beautiful town and all the main attractions are walkable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is ok if you’re just looking for a base… definitely not a 4* by normal standards. Basic and small room with a tiny bathroom. Some broken fixtures in the room , electricity flicked on and off randomly, shower turned very hot randomly. Carpets in the hallways were very dirty and it did smell most of the time.
