Great location but ibwould ratevthe hotel as a 2 star propertyat best. The property is very tired , showers are awful . Very noisy very late into the night 3 am and later . Street noise and garbage trucks The front desk need some customer service training , restaurant staff are great

Excellent location overlooking the Liffey. Minutes from Temple Bar and shops. On bus route. Breakfast excellent and staff very friendly, professional and efficient. Room a little dated but well appointed and clean. Would definitely stay again.

I will be contacting Expedia regarding the parking issue. It’s a 10 minute walk. If I had been alone it would have been impossible. We parked where told and ended up paying 43 euros to get our car out after 2 nights. There is nothing on their site about this. They did not tell us to have our parking validated and you had to insert your ticket to drive your car out. They refused to accept this charge as a refund because we no longer had the ticket. The desk staff was rude at check in because we wouldn’t leave our luggage at the front door unattended. Yes they had a luggage cart but didn’t offer it or tell us where it was. Really poor guest service.

Perfection at the front desk. Bathroom taps were a struggle in shower for us Canadians. Perfect place in the middle of Dublin. Buses everywhere. No smog. Safe and old world. Hit the Celtic Nights Show!

The room was rundown. I literally just washed my hands and left. I was considering allowing a homeless person utilized the room. As racky as itveas better than being out in the cold. Front desk helpful. But he was alone and other people had to wait while the nanager was conducting an interview

Close to city center activities which was nice. Reception staff were straightforward and check-in/check-out went smoothly. Luckily we had no accessibility needs, but there’s only a staircase so be ready to haul luggage to a higher floor. The tap in the bathroom barely ran on the cold side, and there was water damage and mold in the shower.

Great experience. Property is a little old and may not seem as clean but perfect in many other ways. So if you are not a snob, just blind book. Its the best location to explore Dublin and very close to pickup points for bus excursions. We had a great time.

This hotel is in a great location near O’Connell Bridge in downtown Dublin. It’s only a few minutes walk to most sites. Lots of restaurants and shopping very close. It is just across the river from the airport bus stop. About a 30 minute walk to Guiness. The hotel is an older hotel that has some age on it. However you can tell the staff tries to keep things working and the rooms were very clean and quite spacious for a downtown hotel. The older plumbing was a bit cantankerous for us, but the staff fixed it as quickly as possible. If you value central location over the most modern amenities, then this hotel is a solid choice.

Great location and a good old fashioned hotel with the service you’d expect from such a place. About 100yds from O’Connell Street and close to many of the sights and places of interest. A very pleasant place to stay. The staff were friendly and polite.
