The hotel was like walking int the past, to get the television to work I had to rest the ariel box thing on top of my suitcase or we would just get static. The bathroom was clean at least the room was ok. There is no soundproofing so you can hear everything, the staff was loud at 7am talking outside of our window. After walking up Ben Nevis I thought we might be able to sleep but the beds are that uncomfortable it was impossible, I would have had better luck on a park bench.

Rather noisy from passing traffic in the morning.food not heated through but promptly replaced by very hard working staff. Spa facilities spotless.very relaxing.a lounge room would be a nice space to have . Would happily return

It was a good location, but a little too far to walk to the downtown area and train station (about 1 mile away). The wifi was not reliable. The food in the pub was good.

I was disappointed in this hotel. The only area that looked impressive was the pool area, although I never used the facilities as I had other plans. I was disappointed in the hotel room because there was a drip noise at the window and I could not get to sleep. Damp on carpeted floor. Shower did not come on so I ran a bath. Bed seemed clean and cup and teabags was helpful. But it did not meet up to my standards and I was not impressed with the impression it gave. Guests also woke me up at 1am due to disruptive noise levels including doors closing loudly and voices and I had to complain. Finally, I asked for water staff said I had to use tap water from bathroom but I felt they could have brought water to my room. Reception staff were all lovely and welcoming! And sports bar food seemed lovely.

First room was above kitchen and the smells affected my husbands sleep apnea machine , staff lovely happy to move us to a different room which was lovely , always clean just the shower was never very warm . Food in the bar was fantastic , atmosphere great . Property is a bit tired . Pool was lovely . No lifts so those on first and second floors can have a bit of a trek to rooms . Great location for travelling around area from .

No warm shower

Arriving to the hotel and not having warm water in the shower is a disgrace! We have read the reviews before arrival about this issue and couldnt believe it..its actually true! Very weak wifi. A lot of noise from room above. Our room was very far from the reception we had to go through 7 doors to get to it! The hotel restaurant was very good and the room had a very nice view.

Good location. Enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Room was clean but decor needs updating. Shower and hot water tap not the best and WiFi signal very poor. Didn’t use leisure facilities so cannot comment on that
