The hotel has good qualities but nothing can compensate for the poor quality of the room. No hooks, no hangers, no racks, no place to hang clothes at all. They expect you to arrive with no suitcase and no extra clothing. In addition, the reservationist smirked when he said I was getting a room with ocean view, and I realized he was just taking me for a pushover. The window is the size of a pizza and yes, you can see the ocean if you get close enough. The room was more like a spare closet than a hotel room. Disgusted.

Visited as part of family vacation for 4 nights. Choose hotel as it was close to beach as well as restaurants and shops. Location didnt disappoint. Pool area was nice, we had an ocean view room which had good view of ocean as well as Diamond head mountain. I was located right across from Honolulu zoo which was a nice morning sitting on balcony listening to monkeys have their morning song as.well.as.Lions roar.
