We had an amazing stay at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel! The location is unbeatable — just steps from Waikiki Beach and right across from the park with incredible views of Diamond Head. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff kept everything spotless throughout our stay. The staff really stood out — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations for food and activities. The pool deck and on-site restaurant were great spots to relax after a day exploring. Overall, it was the perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and island vibes. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Honolulu!

First room wasn’t sanitary to my standards/dusty. I was also accused of smoking because. I left my vape in my room, I went to the want front desk, they tried to make excuses like the fire alarm smelled smoke, and they put the alarm in there after I was in my room, which was a lie, and also said they smell smoke.

Great location across from Kapiolani Park and near ocean. Older hotel recently renovated to keep old Hawaii style. Deck Restaurant has great atmosphere and excellent dinners, although less good breakfasts. Friendly staff.

Positives- clean room, nice view of Diamondhead, great location, restaurant & coffee shop were nice, decent value for Oahu. Negatives- while view was great you could easily see into everyone’s room on the other side, valet parking was a bit pricey at over $60/day but I believe that is relatively standard for Waikiki.
