Great location, just at the bottom of the Main Street. All the staff were excellent, going above and beyond to help me out in returning an item I’d left behind after my stay. My room was spotless with a great shower!

Telly didn’t work as it should - wouldn’t connect to get smart tv which should have despite staff member trying to help us. Extortionate price for wine for some reason - £8.50-£9.50 for a 125ml glass!! Location was perfect and room size good and gorgeous stone window frames

Lovely warm welcome from the staff who showed us to the spacious and clean room. The room itself needs a bit of TLC - wall paper lifting by the door (looks like the plaster underneath has caused this), ceiling needs a paint after water damage and one window doesn’t fit the window itself leaving a massive gap for air to come in. Housekeeping staff - amazing and so helpful and friendly The only negative I would say is that in the mornings the staff are extremely loud downstairs shouting to each other and having loud, thumping music on from early leaving you unable to relax and have a lie in. Other than that, a lovely stay

This pub/hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff are wonderful! The accommodation is very in keeping with its time and warm and welcoming. I will definitely be returning. There is a feeling of nostalgia with this pub and hotel.
